Steve Soboroff is currently the President of Playa Vista, one of the nation's most significant multi-use real estate projects. He is the past President of the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Commission, and former Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Los Angeles. Mr. Soboroff helped spearhead the Alameda Corridor Project and the Staples Center, and finished within 3% of Mayor James Hahn in the 2001 mayoral primary in Los Angeles. He is currently on the board of governors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, a Trustee of the Weingart Foundation and a Director of the First Federal Bank. Recently, Mr. Soboroff was honored as Harvard Business School's "Business Statesman of the Year"
